How I can help with depression or anger
Teens often experience emotions intensely, but many don’t yet have the tools, language, or support to understand what they’re feeling. Depression can look like withdrawal, exhaustion, irritability, loss of motivation, or feeling emotionally numb. Anger may show up as shutting down, conflict at home, frustration, defensiveness, or emotional outbursts.
Therapy helps teens better understand their emotions instead of feeling controlled by them.
Together, we work toward, healthier ways to cope with stress and big emotion, increased emotional awareness and self-understanding, improved communication and emotional expression, reduced irritability, shutdowns, and emotional outbursts, better self-esteem and self-confidence, building resilience during difficult seasons and transitions.
